The two step , although it's name, is a little bit harder to master than the six and three step. It looks great when mastered and of course when mixed with the six step.
To do this step you start crouched with your left leg extended in front of you.
The first step is to bring your left leg in while you extend your right leg(switch legs).
This is where it gets a little tricky. Take your right leg and sweep it in front of your left leg, just like a six step kick. Lean forward on your arms and as you sweep your right leg in front of your left foot hop over it, just like in the three step guide. The difference is when you hop your left leg you should spin your body completely over and land with your left leg extended in the starting position.
It takes a little practice to get used to the jump, spin, kick maneuver but it can easily be learned in a half hour. The secret is to remember that you are going to land with your left leg extended.
Once you have the move smooth you are ready to concentrate on making your sweep look clean and connected to the hop, spin, kick. Remember as as always technique over speed.
