The one step or coffee grinder is the first breakdancing move I ever learned. It is one of the easiest steps. It is only 1 step, so how hard can it be ….right?... I know anyone can do it.
To Start you will need to be crouched with your left leg extended. Your body weight should be resting firm on your right foot.
Now swing your left foot in a sweeping motion towards the right of your body until your left leg is just about to trip your right foot. When you get to this point you are going to hop over your left leg.
To hop your left leg you will need to have your left hand on the ground. This will let you use it as support when you start spinning.
You are going to have to keep your left knee strait. Try to think of your leg as a helicopter propeller. Try kicking your sweep so hard that your body spins in a clockwise motion from the momentum.
