Investors
Having an investor to back you is one of the keys to throwing large shows. A good investor teamed with the right sponsors and advertisers will definitely get your show off the drawing board and into the club. This part of the game usually requires some basic business skills.
You have to show the investor how you intend to make money and what you are doing to guarantee their return on investment. Since in reality success can not be guaranteed it is important you fully understand what you are asking your investor to do. Remember if you loose their money you will loose their respect. So make sure you chose your investor wisely.
There is a lot of venues in Cleveland available to me free of charge. This took a lot of hard work and determination but mostly respect. I have had club owners I just met ask me when I wanted the club and give it to me at no charge just because I was introduced to them as one of Cleveland's finest.
In the beginning most club owners want you to prove yourself, so chances are you will need some funding to get started. Things to consider are…

Depending on the size of the event you may not have to worry about some of these categories. Some good advice is before you print flyers you need to make sure you have enough money to cover all other expenses listed
